OUR MISSION
Straight Up Capital was founded in 2017. Since then, our mission has been to provide educational investment leadership in an evolving digital world where technology and finance are at the forefront of innovation. We strive to promote insight that encourages continued growth and advancement in this new financial ecosystem of digital assets and blockchain technology. While being on the cutting edge of any idea can have uncertainties, this pervasive technology provides for a safer, cheaper, and more efficient form of transacting in what is now a truly global economy.

About Us
Sean is a graduate of Syracuse University magna cum laude and the University of Colorado Law School. While at Colorado Law, Sean was an active member in the Boulder tech and venture capital community. While serving as the Executive Chair of the Transactional Division of the law school, Sean and his partner won the National Intellectual Property Transactional LawMeets competition. Sean also helped teach in the Interdisciplinary Telecom Program, teaching graduate level engineering classes in Telecom Business & Strategy, and Telecom Policy & Regulation.
Sean likes to talk about bitcoin and blockchain. He's interested in far out ideas and over the horizon technologies. Currently, he invests in digital assets, like bitcoin, and blockchain tech because the Internet works best when it makes the world a better place. He tries to do his part with periodic writings on his LinkedIn about technology, blockchain, innovation, finance, and digital assets. In his community, Sean is a founding Board of Director on the Diversity in Blockchain Philly Chapter.
